Greetings My Lovelies
So here’s where I tell you all my deepest darkest secrets….ha ha….nope.
What I can tell you is that I don’t ever remember learning to read, I just did. I mean, I know I had to learn it at some point but my earliest memories are simply me enjoying a good book. I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been writing stories since I was in middle school but was too chicken shit to do anything about it until a dear friend of mine (waves, “Hey Michelle!) published her first novel. I realized that I wouldn’t gain anything if I never was brave enough to try. So I took a deep breath and wrote my first ever book and I was hooked.
The Lost Guardian Trilogy will always hold a special place in my heart because it is my first book baby but it is not the only story I have in me.
As a reader of all genres, I write all genres too. Or at least, I have them planned. I have stories that take place in fantastical new worlds with strange gods and peoples. I look to the past for inspiration and retell their stories. I even have friends among the far-flung stars. Basically, if I don’t have what you’re looking for just wait.
On a more personal note:
I’m a vet (OOHRAH MARINES!)
I’m a special needs teacher.
I have depression and anxiety.
I grew up on comics, Star Wars, Star Trek, and the cartoon version of Lord of the Rings.
For the longest time, I thought that I had completely imagined the 1986 movie The Labyrinth. You know the one with David Bowie as the Goblin King. Seriously I didn’t realize it was a movie. I thought I had a tripped out dream as a kid.
If you want to know anything else just find me around the social web. I welcome any and everyone! See you around the Circle, my friend!
